Par-Fore A Charity Event at Cherokee Hills Golf Course was an event put on by Lisa Shaheen and her crew of friends that do benefits each year to raise money for people in need and organizations like ours. We were very honored this year to have been chosen for this event. Thank you to all that attended and worked so hard at the event on July 13th.

Please keep our Hope Child, Jacob Williams in your hearts as he passed away at home early in the morning on 10/14/08 with his family by his side.
 SUNDAY -JULY 20, 2008  -  3rd Annual "Cassidy's Hope Run" honoring our 2008 Hope Child - Jacob Williams. Jacob is 11 years old and has been battling glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor, for over a year now. He has been chosen by Akron Children's Hospital to be honored by Cassidy's Hope Foundation this year. He is 1 of 4 children in his family and is being treated by Akron Children's. Thank you for making this a success!

We were able to raise $3,686 for Jacob and his family. We were also able to supply him with a reclining wheel chair, electric wheel chair and a wheel chair ramp so he is able to get in and out of his house with ease. Please continue your prayers for Jacob as his health is declining. Thank you also to all our supporters, Weigand Construction for the ramp, and all our volunteers for helping.

2nd Annual "AUCTION OF HOPE"

Friday - November 7, 2008 at Medina Eagle's Hall. Doors Open at 6 p.m. Bob Hale will be our auctioneer this year. Tickets are NOW on sale. The cost includes an appetizer buffet, desserts, beer, coffee, and door prizes. A cash bar will also be available. The Silent Auction we begin at 6pm and the Live Auction will begin approx. at 7:40pm. Great items again this year; 2-night stay in Geneva, New York with the option of a 4-night stay at Seneca Lake Wine Trails in a house that sleeps 12, Hot Air Balloon Ride, Autographed Sports Memorabilia, Toys/Games, Spa Packages, Golf Packages, something for everyone Big & Small! 50/50 Raffles, Door Prizes, Raffles and a lot of FUN!   ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE EVENT.

 Cassidy's Hope Run 2007 was a great success. It was held July 22nd at Century Harley Davidson in Medina, Oh. We couldn't have hoped for a better day. I am proud to say that 151 riders, countless volunteers, wonderful sponsors and supporters, and lots of sunshine made this benefit the success it was. We were able to raise a grand total of $5,018. The riders and dinners and our 50/50 raised $2,600 for our Hope Child, Mathew Glazer's family, the remainder Chinese raffle amount was used for expenses and Cassidy's Hope Foundation - to continue to be able to provide our services to other families. Thank you Century Harley and the B.B.C. for your hard work and support.

NOTE: We are saddened to say that Mathew passed away on June 27, 2007 at home with his family. Please say some prayers for his family as losing a child is the hardest thing a parent can endure.

    

 2007 Auction of Hope  -  SOLD OUT

Saturday, November 3, 2007 was our 1st annual Auction for Hope at the Coppertop Banquet Facility at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.

Wow, what an event. Thank you to our board members for all your hard work. Our volunteers did an outstanding job. We were able to Gross $20,000. Thanks to all the people who attended - I hope you all had a great time. We hope to see you again next year!
