Dear Pam,
I just received your email and shared it with my husband. We cannot tell you enough-THANK YOU. A family never expects to have to go thru a situation like this, but with the help of people like you, hope is still possible! I used to think, right after she was diagnosed, why our family?, but as time went on I tried to focus more on she's here and every day I need to be thankful for that, and oh have I learned to be grateful for what we have. But that still doesn't keep the bills from rolling in and adding stress to our already high stress level. I wish there was a law that could be passed for parents to receive some assistance when something like this happens. We are forced to quit our jobs to take care of our families, and there are only groups like yours that help, and not everyone is aware of them. Most of us have/had good jobs and do not qualify for state assistance. I don't mean to ramble on, but I just wanted to let you know how VERY grateful we are for YOUR help toward our family. "

Pam,
We were able to install the ramp here in Mansfield this past Saturday. I thought it came out pretty nice, but I figured you might want to see it as well. I have attached two photos for your use.

I appreciate everything your foundation is doing and hope this ramp helps this family very much. It is our pleasure to donate the entire ramp at no cost.

Keep in mind that our rentals come with a No Charge agreement. Note: I used a "spare" wheel chair with Cassidy when we went to parks and ballgames so her good chair wouldn't get ruined. Please note: We would love to start doing more for our families. One way in which we can start is for you to help. We are in need of gasoline gift cards, grocery store gift cards, dining gift cards, movies passes, and anything on that order. The more we get donated - the more we can do for our families. We were able to help 36 families since 2007, some of which we do still keep in touch with. We would like to be able to help anyone that contacts us at anytime.
